Air source heat pump installations:
An air source heat pump will take energy (heat) from the ambient air and use this to heat your home and hot water. It does this by working like a refrigerator in reverse! The energy from the air will be used to boil refrigerant which will then be compressed, pass through a heat exchanger and transferred to the water within the system.
An air source heat pump can offer running costs of up to 60% below that of a traditional system.
Air to air heat pump installations:
An air to air heat pump will use very similar technology to the air to water system above though will transfer the energy into the air inside of the building.
They can be used for both winter heating and for summer cooling and may be referred to as space heating/cooling. They are designed to give a progressive air flow to ensure draught-free heating or cooling.
Ground source heat pump installations across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London:
A ground source heat pump will take energy (heat) from the ground outside and transfer this energy to put heat into your home for both heating and hot water.
A ground source heat pump can offer running costs of up to 70% below that of traditional systems and can offer Renewable Heating Incentive (RHI) repayments of over double that of the air source heat pump.
