New Build Detatched Property using Low Temperature Ground Source Heat Pump

Built in 2011 this development is a four bedroom detached property in Kent set over three floors. A Ground Source heat pump is installed with an integrated hot water cylinder to minimise the space required for the unit which is coupled to three arrays of compact collectors with six panels in each array.

The compact collectors were used as the space available in the garden did not allow horizontal ground loops to be installed but were much cheaper to install than boreholes.

Underfloor heating is installed throughout the property with individual room control supported by a fully weather compensated control system on the heat pump giving the maximum possible economy over the whole heating season.
